On Christmas Eve the young Palestinian Christian singer Mirvat Jousif Ashqar recited a new song dedicated for the Christmas season called “Jesus is Born…Halleluiah”.

The words are written by Ropier Shakiban and composed by Jousif Al Lwaiza. The song was filmed in the same exact spot where Jesus was born at the church in Bethlehem. The song was aired on a majority of religious channels mainly Lebanese Christian channels.

According to the London daily Elaph, “Jesus is born…Halleluiah” is distributed by the music artist and violin player Mueen Daniel, recorded by guitar player Michael Sajrawi and it is a production of Noor for All Nation Society in Canada. Noor Production adopts all of Ashqar’s spiritual projects.

“Jesus is born…Halleluiah” is Mirvat’s fourth video clip for this past year. The first song was called “Tefil Al Eid” (Christmas Child), which was written and composed by Ashqar herself and produced by Rafiq Halabi. The song was for Christmas of 2006. There were another two songs called “Orshaleem” and “Al Rab In Qal Fa’al” (If The Lord Say…He Will Do).

Mirvat made sure that she’ll be doing more spiritual songs for the coming year that will be directed by her as well. Mirvat hosted many concerts during the holiday seasons.
