The Lebanese Broadcasting Company program <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />StarAcademy has finally released the first album of the winner of it’s first season Egyptian Mohammad Attia under the direction of EMI Records. To the disappointment of the organizers of the program and the production company, the album was a complete failure contrary to what was expected.
According to sources, most people who watched the song “Ana El Habeeb” that Mohammad filmed in the form of a music video had expressed a form of disgust because it was a complete replica of a song originally sung by the band Back Street Boys. The song is a clear example of plagiarism in regards to the words and compostion, and holds no authenticity.
The final episode of the popular show “Star Academy”, which was considered one of the most popular shows in the Arab world, ended with announcing 20-year-old Attia the winner of Star Academy defeating his Kuwaiti opponent 21-year-old Bashar Al Shati.
