Egyptian comedian-actor Mohammed Hunaidi is facing a lawsuit accusing him of stealing the scenario of his last movie “Foul Alseen al’azeem” (The Great Chinese Soya Beans) from young scenarist Ahemd Mousa. Mousa claims that the movie is stolen from a story he wrote entitled “Mohye Shan” and added that he filed the suit to guarantee his financial and intellectual rights before the screening of the movie.
In a related context Hunaidi decided to postpone the screening of his movie because the copies are still in India and the trips are not regular so they might be some delay before the copies are ready in the cinemas. Hunaidi had not taken into account that such a problem would occur and requested director Sharif Arafeh to bring the copies with him once he returns to Egypt.
The movie was filmed in China and Thailand and some Asian actors participated in it like actress Kamala, who will also be doing her role in Arabic. Hunaidi assures that the film will hold many humorous surprises that will keep audiences laughing all the way through it. –Albawaba.com
