Prominent Egyptian singer Mohammad Muneer has headed off to Germany to undergo a checkup and several medical tests. The singer had recently had an surgical operation performed on his left arm at one of the hospitals in Germany, and his visit is a follow-up to ensure he is in good health.
According to the London based Elaph, Muneer revealed that his health condition is stable and improving, and his trip at such a time is also for leisure and relaxation, especially after placing so many hours in completing the recording of the songs for his upcoming album.
Muneer denied rumors that he had refused to undergo the operation in Egypt due to lack of expertise. He added that the matter was simple and that since a few years back he had bought a health insurance plan in Germany and pays an annual fee of 3500 Euro.
The singer has submitted the master copy of his new album to the producer of his albums Tareq al Khashef, who recently contracted with producer Muhsin Jaber, owner of Alam El Phan, to distribute the album.
It is said that the music satellite channel ‘Mazzika’ will air the two songs Muneer filmed in the form of music videos exclusively for a period of time, then other channels will have the right to air them.
Muneer revealed that the album will be released in the upcoming few days and a new and unique promotional advertising campaign has been launched for the album. The album may be released during Muneer’s stay in Germany, since his visit will last more than 10 days.
Upon his return, Muneer intends on choosing a third song to film as a music video, based on his fans preference.
Muneer asserted that his album is different from all of his previous albums and features songs that are very close to people’s feelings.
The singer denied rumors that the songs from his album were leaked on the internet and stressed that not one song was posted on any Internet site. He added that some individuals who forge albums had released an album featuring a collection of his old songs stating that it is his new release.
