Mohammad Riyadh Re-Groups with ‘Who Doesn’t Love Fatima?’ Team

Renowned actor Mohammed Riyadh is currently shooting the outdoor scenes of the new series Al Madhi Yaoud (The Past Returns), directed by Mohammed Al Naqly. Costarring with him in the series are Hussein Fahmi, Zizi Al Badrawi and Rania Farid Shawqi.  

Mohammed Riyadh told the UAE daily Al Bayan that the series marked the second round of cooperation between him, editor Anis Mansour, and screenplay writer Raouf Hilmi. Cooperation between the trio started with the series Man La Yuhibbu Fatema (Who Doesn’t Love Fatima?), a smash hit dealing with unemployment, immigration and love in Egypt.  

After a period of rest, Hilmi has returned with the latest series, which is based on the story of Anis Mansour. 

Regarding his wife Rania Mahmoud Yassin’s return to performing and rumors about her quitting, Riyadh said that “Rania did not quit and I do not interfere in her affairs. She has absolute freedom to return to acting, or to sit at home...The reason behind her being away during the past period was only her pregnancy and giving birth.”
