Mohammad Subhi takes Nicole Saba to the small screen

Prominent Egyptian actor Mohammad Subhi has finally succeeded in convincing Lebanese singer Nicole Saba to accept his offer for a leading role in his upcoming television drama series “Ana Wa Ha’ola” (Me and Them), marking her debut on the small screen. Mohammad was successful in helping Nicole get over her fear of accepting an acting offer, especially since she did not want to hurt the image she has achieved after her first film “Al Tajruba Al Denmarkia” (A Dutch Experience) alongside Egyptian comedian Adel Imam, which was a huge success in the region.

According to the London based weekly, Laha, Nicole had been refusing most of the offers she received to star in different acting jobs not feeling they were up to her standards. The singer believed that the opportunity to act alongside Subhi would add tremendously to her career and she felt that the idea of acting in a television drama will broaden her scope in the sense that she wants to become known to television viewers.

The new drama is written by Subhi himself and will costar a number of prominent actors and actresses from Egypt. Nicole is hopeful that this experience will match that of the one she encountered with Imam.
 
On a different note, the international music channel MTV in Mexico had been airing the latest clip “Ya Shaghilni Beek” by Nicole on a weekly basis as part of their Top Ten songs. Nicole’s song conquered the number one spot on the show for a series of ten weeks, a success never witnessed by any other artist.

It has been revealed that Nicole is preparing to star in the film “Clip Al Gharam” (Love Clip), marking her second, alongside Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz and Tunisian actress Hind Sabri. In the film, Nicole will play her real-life character (a Lebanese singer) who falls in love with an Egyptian man obsessed with music and a singing career.

The movie shows Nicole as the singer in love with an unknown yet talented singer she is willing to put a lot of faith in. Despite all the criticism and advise she receives from her friends in the entertainment world against doing so, Nicole forms a band with him.
