Egyptian artist Mohammed Munir will begin shooting his latest film, Abyad Ya Ward (Roses are White), after the Eid Al Fitr holiday. The new work will probe the effects of the Sept. 11 attacks in the US on the hopes and dreams of young people, according to the Qatari daily Al Raya.
Fayza Kamal and Hanan Turk are set to costar in the film, which will examine the circumstances of young people in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in Washington and New York in which thousands were killed.
The film will tackle how these events has affected their dreams and changed many of their thoughts and beliefs.
Munir has appeared in many films, including Al Massir (Destiny) and Haddoutah Masriyah (Egyptian Tale).
The veteran actor is now gearing up to perform in a German film - Albawaba.com
