Jamal Mubarak, son of Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, will testify in the murder trial for Lebanese artist Suzan Tamim.

Hisham Talat Mustafa is on trial for murdering Suzan.

Jamal is the secretary of the National Party in Egypt, of which Egyptian businessman Hisham Talat Mustafa is also a member.

The court also summoned the minister of internal affairs Habib Al Adely, since he was working as the head of the police force in Egypt at the time when retired police Officer Muhsin Al Sukari, who is also accused of murdering Suzan, was in the force as well.

The court also heard testimony from the head of Interpol in Egypt that arrested Al Sukari and followed the case in Cairo and Dubai.

The judge has banned media coverage of the high-profile case form the courtroom.
