Al Qitamyah Sporting Club has awarded the famous Egyptian comedian Muhammad Hunaidi an award for best actor in 2009 for his role in the film “Amir Al Bihar” (The Prince of the Seas).
According to the London daily Elaph, director Wael Ihasan received an award for best director and the production company ‘Arab Cinema Production’ was also awarded for the same film.
The film opened in theaters on the second day of the Eid Al Adha holiday, grossing over one million Egyptian pounds.
Hunaidi said that he is grateful for the film’s accomplishments, but he considers the love of his viewers an even a greater accomplishment.
