Muna Shadad’s mixed emotions
Prominent Kuwaiti actress Muna Shadad revealed that after the success of her television comedy “Al Fatlah” alongside Kuwaiti comedian actor Tareq Al Ali, she will be presenting a part two of the comedy to be aired during the Ramadan season of 2012. The same cast of the first part of the comedy will also star in the second part. The drama is directed by Nu’man Hussein and produced by ‘Furughi Art Production’.
The second comedy series Muna will star in is “Al Da’lah” that is directed by Nu’man Hussein and written by Fayez Al Amer. Each episode will tackle a different subject of humorous nature.
Muna will also star in the television drama “Baqaya Jurooh” (Remains of pain), in which she plays a completely different role than the ones in the comedy series. The drama “Baqaya Jurooh” tackles the different hardships encountered by women. It reflects the repression imposed by society, heartbreaks of time and the need to overcome all obstacles to reach desired goals. Despite reaching her goal at the end, Muna’s character will always be imprisoned with memories of pain and heartaches.
According to the London based Elaph, Muna is currently filming the remaining scenes of the drama that is written by Fajer Al Sa’eed. The drama will star Ibraheem Al Salal, Intisar Al Sharah, Zahrah Al Kharji and Ahmad Sultan.
