Muna Shalabi afraid of never getting married

Young Egyptian actress Muna Shalabi is shocked after prominent director Ahmad Saqr nominated her for the leading role in the new television drama “Al Banat Fil Thalatheen” (Girls in their Thirties). The drama is written by prominent writer Muna Nour El Din and it will costar Ola Ghanem, Riham Abd Al Ghafour, Muna Fadali and Hannan Imtawi’.

 

Muna was very honored to be nominated by Ahmad to star in the drama that tells the story of a young lady who reaches thirty and keeps turning down every marriage proposal stressing that she wont accept anyone unless she falls in love first and marries for love. Her constant refusal of men leads to her realizing that she might never find the right mate and that she will end up alone.

 

Throughout the events of the drama, the young lady discovers that people have stopped asking for her hand in marriage and just when she begins to lose hope of ever finding anyone she falls for a man twice her age played by prominent Egyptian actor Hussein Fahmi, which brings rise to endless disputes and obstacles with her family.

 

Aside from focusing on the issue of young ladies reaching the age of thirty without ever getting married, the drama also discusses the issue of secret marriages, and the freedom given to some girls and how some take advantage of it.
