Muna Shalabi first in love

After receiving an award for ‘Best Actress’ at the National Cinema Festival for her role in the film ‘An Al Ishiq Wal Hawa’ (About Love), young Egyptian actress Muna Shalabi returned to romantic films and is currently filming the scenes of her upcoming romantic film ‘Al Ola Fil Gharam” (First in Love).

 

According to the London based Elaph, the new film is written by Waheed Hamed and directed by Mohammad Ali. Actor Hani Salama costars alongside Muna.

 

Muna is also starring in the new film “Hia Fawda” (Its Chaos) with actors Khaled Saleh, Yousif Al Sharif and Hala Fakher. The film is written by Naser Abdul Rahman and is directed by internationally well-known director Yousif Shaheen.

 

On a different note, Muna had denied rumors that she has left her mother’s home, resigned belly dancer Zizi Mustafa, and moved out on her own.

 

The actress stressed that she would never leave her mother and cannot imagine living away from her. She added that living with her mother gives her stability and security.

 

Muna stated that many actresses who leave their family homes to live on their own are haunted with numerous rumors and that is one of the many reasons she would not consider it. She noted that with her mother on her side she feels the value of family and is very close with her mother and does not keep any secret from her.
