Muna Zaki and Ahmad Al Sakka on the radio

Director Hussein Ibrahim has begun recording episodes for the new radio drama series “Walad Adeem Wa Bint Spoor” (An Old Fashion Guy and a Hip Girl), to be broadcast during the holy month of Ramadan.

 

Young Egyptian actors Ahmad Al Sakka and Muna Zaki will play the leading characters.

 

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, the drama revolves around an old fashioned young man who insists on sticking to traditional values, and his father tries to coax him into marrying his modern, hip cousin, who does not know he is alive, yet.

 

Muna Zaki has been consumed with the production of her upcoming film “An Al Ishiq Wal Hawa” (About Love and Romance).  The fated love story, directed by Kamelah Abu Thikri, is set to the backdrop of a romantic musical score.

 

Muna has revealed that she will present a surprise to her audience through her role as a singer in the film. The actress is currently taking voice lessons, and hopes that her fans will approve of her newfound singing talent.

 

She and Al Sakka have been reunited in the film after a three-year separation. The film also costars Muna Shalabi and Ghada Abdul Rizik.
