Egyptian actress Muna Zaki has announced that her return to the small screen will be through a new drama series “Mubariat Zawjieh” (Spouses Race) after she was nominated for the leading role by director Anaam Mohammad Ali. Muna will play the role of “Nuha”, a journalist who attempts through her profession to understand the problems women face in their everyday life.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Egyptian actor Mustafa Shabaan will costar alongside Muna playing the role of “Hussan” a photo journalist who accompanies her in her quest. The drama tackles problems faced by married couples in their everyday life due to the changing conditions in society.
Egyptian actor Ahmad Hilmi had decided to go on a family vacation with his wife, Muna aki, and their 6-month old daughter to London, after his latest movie proved success at cinema houses around Egypt. The couple had felt it was time they went on a family holiday to escape the pressures of their demanding career. Muna revealed that during her stay in London she will shop around for a collection of dresses for her upcoming movie "Ahlam Omrina" (Our Life's Dreams). The couple's trip in more ways tan one proves the lack of an existence of disputes between them, a point Ahmad and Muna want to stress to the public and the media, which has been publishing numerous lies about them.
Muna denied recent circulating rumors about the existence of disputes between her and actress Hanan Turk, stressing that it is all mere lies. Muna asserted that her relationship with Hanan could not be better and there are not any problems between them.
Rumors had it that the relationship between the two young actresses has witnessed some tension lately after news leaked to Muna that Hanan is demeaning her latest movie “Min Nazret Ain” “From Eyesight”, which did not witness the success expected.
This is not the first time that rumors of disputes existing between the two actresses has been spread all over tabloids.
