According to the London based Elaph, actor Ahmad Fahmi costars in the film alongside Muna, and negotiations are currently taking place with actor Mohammad Imam, son of famous comedian actor Adel Imam, to also costar in the film. Mohammad Imam was chosen due to his significant success in the role he played in the film “Imarit Ya’qubain” (Ya’qubain Building).

“Aswar Al Qamar” is written by Mohammad Hafthi, produced by Walid Sabri and directed by Tareq Al Arian. A budget of nine million Egyptian pounds has been set for the production of the film.

The story of the film revolves a young lady who due to a boat accident looses her eyesight.

With regards to her trip to the US, Muna stated that the workshop she will be taking part in is in no way due to her weak acting skills, which rumors stated. She stressed that she wants to learn new skills and add something new to her acting style which in turn will enhance her talent.

Muna added that the workshop came at the right time in order for her to be able to present something new to her audience in the new film she will be taking part in.

The actress also noted that the reason behind her not taking part in too many works in the recent period is mainly due to the fact that most of the offers she had received were not attractive to her, in addition to her wanting to spend some quality time with her family.
