Disputes have risen between Egyptian actress Muna Zaki and the producers of the play "Kidda Okay" (Like This Okay), due to the insistence of Muna to continue acting out her role despite her pregnancy. The producers of the play find it to be very inconvenient for Muna to continue especially since her part is of a young lady who is not married.

According to the London based daily, Al Quds Al Arabi, having Muna continue while she obviously looks pregnant being in her final months is very inappropriate in front of the audience, especially since her role requires a number of musical and dance performances. Muna refused all attempts to quit the play saying she is perfectly fine with continuing her job and stressing that her pregnancy is not in the way. Some suggested that a substitute actress takes on Muna's role during the summer shows and until the actress delivers her baby and is back on her feet.

Muna stressed that she will not give in to the wishes of the producers in turn jeopardizing all her benefits in terms of profit from the play. Muna added that her pregnancy has caused her no difficulty and to prove her point is her current filming of the new movie "Aunt Francis".

Since the marriage of Zaki and Ahmad Hilmi, countless rumors in the past kept circulating that Muna is pregnant. The actress had always wondered why such rumors would arise and why she would hide such a wonderful fact if it were true. But her recurring denials of the rumors did not make them stop circulating.

But recently, Muna announced publicly that she is finally pregnant and that she is anxiously waiting to become a mother. Muna revealed that she and her husband have already made their decision that if their firstborn is a boy they will name him Hassan. The couple had not yet made up their minds on what to name the baby if it is a girl. The actress stressed that now she is more than happy to read the news in papers since it is finally true.

Muna has denied other endless rumors that came out of a divorce from her husband actor. The actress stressed that she and her husband are happily married and are trying to build an ever lasting life together. She added that they are still living as if they were on their honeymoon and enjoying every minute of their marriage.

The actress expressed her resentment towards the rumors being said that attempt to ruin her happy home, saying she does not understand why some are striving to breakup what she and Ahmad are trying to build. Muna also noted that regardless of what is being said, she will not allow anyone to wreck her private life and will prove to the world the bliss she is in. Muna also revealed that she and her husband are enjoying the success of their careers and are preparing to begin work on different films.

Rumors had it that the couple’s problems have reached a point where continuing their marriage vow is impossible, after a number of matrimonial disputes took over their lives after only one year into their marriage. Their problems have been increasing as days passed by leading Muna to leave her husband and return to her mother home to spend some time away from Hilmi.

Some people claimed that the reason behind all their problems is the fact that Ahmad feels it’s time for them to enter the world of parenthood, a matter which Muna refuses saying its too early in her career. It was added that Muna feared that by having a baby this early in her acting career, she would not be able to receive anymore-leading roles in films. Muna’s family denied that childbearing is not the reason behind their problems and in fact there are a number of issues which the couple is not able resolve. –Albawaba.com
