Muna Zaki's singing debut in her upcoming TV series
Twenty-five year old Egyptian star Muna Zaki has recently finished recording a new song she would be performing in her latest TV series "Joha Al Masri" (The Egyptian Joha).
The Egyptian daily, Al Akhbar newspaper reported yesterday that the song, written by Sayed Hijab and composed by Ammar Al Shure'i, will come as part of a musical scene the star will be shooting in "Juha Al Masri". The series, directed by Magdi Amira, marks the first piece of work for the young actress with writer Yusri Al Gundi and well-known actor Yehya Al Fakharani.
In the series, Zaki plays the role of a princess, who falls in love with the Sultan's son, despite the fact that he doesn't love her. At the same time, she finds that 'Shuheibar' (Juha's son) is falling in love with her, but rejects this love for inconvenience.
On another note, last month, Zaki refused to star in a Lebanese production movie to be directed by Lebanese Rami Ayyash. "The movie's theme is excellent (talking about the Arab unity) and it conveys a great message to all the generations in the Arab World. But I'm a married woman and the movie includes few hugging and kissing scenes, which I cannot accept as the director did not want to delete them," Zaki commented on the movie then. – Albawaba.com
