Egyptian singer Mustafa Amar is due to arrive in Dubai by the end of the month to hold three concerts at the Dubai Trade Center after he signed a contract with different sponsors. While in Dubai, Mustafa intends on choosing a number of areas to shoot music videos for his latest songs using state of the art technology.

According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, the singer plans to keep the name of his upcoming album a secret along with its contents. To his disappointment, sources revealed that basically the same crew that had worked on his previous album "Munaiah" (My Wish) is the same who will be working on the new one.

The daily added that Mustafa is also undergoing negotiations with a prominent singer, whose name was not revealed, to hold a duet together, which will be included in the album. The new release is set to be out in stores by February, during the Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha.

On a different note, Mustafa had refused to take the leading role in a TV drama series, which is due to begin shooting scenes in the very near future, and the part has been offered to another singer. The singer commented that the time is not right now for him to take part in the small screen and prefers to be part of the competition for the big screen and performing concerts.

After returning from his promotion tour in Australia in October, Amar was in shock as he came back to find an official warning filed by the production company he works with. The warning came to notify the singer that legal procedures will be taken against him if he doesn't comply with the company's condition to renew the agreement.

"The previous agreement states that any party can break the agreement prior to 15 days of its validity. I called my lawyer and he assured me that I'm legally on the safe side," the singer said, adding that he's in negotiation to sign an agreement with a new company.

In September, a court in Alexandria has issued a verdict stating that Amar is innocent of the accusation against him saying that the singer has beaten two girls last year.

He was previously convicted in the same case with a two-week jail by a lower degree court. The case, going back to last year, states that two girls accused the renowned singer and others of beating them after storming in their apartment they own in a building owned by the singer's father. – Albawaba.com
