Despite the intensive ad campaign for the most recent film of Egyptian actress Nabila Ubaid, QasaQis Al Ushaq (Lovers’ Clippings), the star has asked screenwriter and producer Wahid Hamed to postpone its screening until the forthcoming Fitr Feast, according to the Kuwaiti daily Al Rae Al Aam.
Ebeid requested the postponement in order to be able to screen it at the upcoming Cairo film festival.
The film was expected to be the strongest box office competitor this summer, facing off against many flicks including Nadia Al Jundi’s Al Raghbah (Desire) and Adel Imam’s Amir Al Zalam (Prince of Darkness).
