Nabila Obeid promises hot scenes through tales of lovers
Egyptian actress Nabila Obeid has announced that her new film “Qasaqees Al Ushaq” (Tales of Lovers) will be released throughout cinema houses in Egypt, and will surely be a satisfying experience for viewers. Nabila said that the film features an interesting story with alluring scenes and a dash of comedy mixed in. she added that a lot of daring was put into the film in terms of specific scenes, which she feels will be most attractive to people.
According to the Saudi based daily, Al Watan, Nabila noted that the film is a light story that revolves around a dancer who intends to end her active career that includes a number of intimate relationships with men, in which she would take a piece of fabric from everyman’s shirt she is intimate with until she creates a shawl. After her shawl is complete she realizes that the lifestyle she has been leading has become dull and can not be tolerated any longer.
The dancer begins to feel the need to be loved by only one man and to be in a serious relationship away from the deception. While on a vacation the dancer meets the love of her life played by the prominent Egyptian actor Hussein Fahmi and so begins their tale.
Nabila revealed that this film will be the ultimate test for her and her cinematic career will depend on it. She added that she will enter the summer competition of films with this film and hopes that her audience will not let her down. She added that the hot and intimate scenes written by Waheed Hamid and daringly directed by Said Marzouq will surely help her succeed.
Late last year, the actress held negotiations at the Egyptian Production Media City with management officials, demanding that she is paid the same wages as Yusra and Samira Ahmad for “Al Amah Nour, scripted by Mahmoud Abu Zaid.
Nabila demanded 25 thousand Egyptian pounds for each episode of the new drama, which is what Yusra received in “Ayna Qalbi” (Where is My Heart) and what Samira Ahmad received in “Ameera Fi Abdeen” (Ameera in Abdeen).
In September last year, Obeid put a condition for her comeback to the small screen, asking for not less than two million thousand Egyptian pounds for any TV series she is going to shoot. Obeid had announced her comeback to the small screen after a 25 years absence.
After being absent from the big screen for three years, Obeid plans to return with a new inspirational story for her future film about the life of the late Princess Diana. Nabila prepared to strike up her production company activities after returning from a short trip to London with the new film that is based on the English novel (My love…Don’t enter my city). The Egyptian actress came back with Lady Diana site memories, as well as with the new successful novel for the Senegalese writer “Nany Kamala”.
