Young Lebanese artist Maryiam Faris hosted a huge live musical concert in Syria that was put together by producer Nader Al Atasi. Maryiam celebrated with the guests of the Damascus International Cinema Festival for the accomplishments of the great producer Al Atasi.
One of Al Atasi’s great dreams was to turn the great Rahabani play “Hala and the King” into a cinema project and was able to do so by turning it into the film “Salina”. The film script and scenario was written by Mansour Al Rahabni and directed by Hatem Ali. The film will star the young Lebanese artist Maryiam Faris, great Syrian actor Duraid Laham, Antoine Karbaj, George Khabaz and a number of Syrian and Lebanese stars.
According to the London daily Elaph, it is needless to say that a great number of Syrian, Egyptian and Lebanese stars attended the celebration. The minister of communication Mr. Muhsin Bilal and the minister of culture Mr. Riyad Nasan Agha were also present at the event.
