Najwa Karam’s new website to be introduced in five different languages – first time for an Arab female!
The fan club for the Lebanese singer Najwa Karam is placing enormous efforts in the development of a new website that is to be featured in five different languages. Hadeer, the brain behind the idea decided that the website would be in Arabic, English, French, Italian, and Spanish. The goal of diversity is to reach the largest audience all around the world and give them the opportunity to get to know the singer, the London based Elaph reported.
The site is currently under construction, and it will feature Najwa’s most recent photos, latest news, and all there is to know about the singer. The daily added that it will be one of many sites that are currently online for the Lebanese singer, all of which constructed by her fans.
On a different note, Karam is taking time off at her home to work out her agenda for concerts and performances during the Eid Al Fitr holiday.
In early October, Najwa denied rumors circulating about her separation from her husband Yousef Harb. A weekly Arab magazine, whose name was not revealed, reported that the singer was to hold a press conference to announce her divorce, and explain the reasons behind the failure of her marriage.
For her part, Karam expressed her disturbance towards the rumors that are affecting her personal life now saying “from now on, I will not let anyone interfere in my personal life; I will not reply, I will not deny, I will be drawing a red line for all.” Karam added, “I am happy with my life with Yousef, and what was reported is a lie intended to harm my image.”
Karam made her debut in the music world in 1985 with her participation in “Layali Lobnan” (Nights of Lebanon) performing Asmahan’s song “Layali Al Ons” (Nights of Pleasure). She was awarded the event’s Golden Medal for her outstanding performance. – Albawaba.com
