Najwa Karam replaces Al Marooq with a younger director

Lebanese singer Najwa Karam reached an agreement with production company ‘Rotana’ to film a video clip for the second song from her latest album, “Haida Haki” (Is This the Talk).  The new clip will be directed by Fadi Haddad from Lebanon, a deviation from Najwas’ last three successful clips filmed under Lebanese director Al Marooq.
 
According to the London daily Elpah, Haddad, despite his youth has directed a number of video clips for well known music artists, although some were considered “erotic” and outside the mainstream Arab music industry. 

‘Rotana’ CEO Salem Al Hindi set the budget for the new clip, specifying that Haddad will be paid in advance.  Filming will take place in Lebanon on January 16 and 17.
 
Critics and fans are wondering if Haddad will present a more wholesome image for Najwa.
