Lebanese singer Najwa Karam is fed up with production company ‘Roatana.’  She has complained to owner Saudi prince Al Waleed Bin Talal that she is not being treated fairly and there is a total disregard for her contract.

Najwa claims ‘Rotana’ is placing all of their efforts on new members singers like Tunisian singer Latifa, known as the new favorite of the company.  Latifa released her first album with ‘Rotana,’ along with a promotional campaign.

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Najwa said she was frustrated with ‘Rotana’ after the company filmed two new video clips for Latifa and hung over 300 posters advertising her new album.

Najwa said that she will begin looking for a new company that will appreciate her and the achievements she has accomplished throughout her career if ‘Rotana’ does not begin focusing on her.

Sources have revealed that ‘Rotana’ has created a list of singers for whom they will not renew their contract as a way of restructuring and creating a new image.

Rumors claimed that Najwa is on the top of the list, although her latest album “Shu Hal Hala” (What is this Beauty) was tremendously successful.

On a different note, Najwa recently returned from Qatar where she participated in the musical production "Aswat Kalabt Al Alam" (Voices that turned the world), based on human rights issues.

Najwa is now reviewing the screenplay for a new drama series directed by Raeef Karam.  The leading actor Syrian Jamal Suleiman has nominated Najwa for the leading female role and hopes she will accept.
