Nancy Ajram and Kathem El Saher take Detroit by storm
Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram and Iraqi singer Kathem El Saher are on a joint tour around the US and Canada that is witnessing tremendous success as concert tickets are selling out well in advance of their performances.
One of the highlights of the duo’s tour thus far, was their stop in Detroit Michigan where their, performance drew a crowd of over four thousand.
Eager fans filled the Fox Theater in Detroit, anxious to see both singers in action. Nancy appeared in an exquisite red dress, startling everyone present. She sang all of her popular hits, and was amazed and touched by how well the audience knew the lyrics to her music.
Kathem’s performance was just as successful as the crowd began singing his songs even before he entered the stage. The singer began the night with his traditional opening song “Baghdad La Tata’alami” (Baghdad don’t Suffer).
Their last performance was on June 5, 2005 in New Jersey, also a great success.
Kathem is now scheduled to head to Morocco where he will give two performances. The singer has confirmed his participation at the Beit El Din Festival this year.
Nancy will remain in the US, where she is scheduled to hold one more performance in Washington DC on June 11, 2005, ending one of the most successful tours of the year.
