Nancy Ajram defies terrorism
Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram announced that will keep her previous engagement and will be going to Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt on July 30 and 31, despite the recent tragic bombing, which took the lives of 64 innocent people.
Nancy expressed that she intends to defy terrorism and will not allow terrorist to keep her or anyone for that matter from living her life. Nancy also noted that she will keep her prescheduled trip to Egypt because she has deep feelings of love for Egypt and its people and feels its her duty to show them support in such times.
The city of Sharm El Sheikh, which is considered one of the most popular tourist areas in Egypt, witnessed a march comprised of some of the most prominent stars in Egypt. Some of the stars that took part in the rally were director Yousif Shahin, Yusra, Nour El Sharif, Laila Elwi, Hussein Fahmi, Raghda, Ehab Tawfiq, Farouq Al Fishawi, Athar Al Hakim and many more. Everyone wanted to show that despite such terrorist actions will not keep them away from the city they so love and will not scare them off.
At a time in which Nancy is carefully producing her own music and making sure that no one interferes with her freedom to distribute ir, she is considering joining the new production company ‘Melody Fame.’
Owner of the new company, Egyptian billionaire Najib Sweiris, intends on making a strong entrance into the market by trying to sign with numerous popular singers.
A number of singers from around the Arab world have expressed interest in joining the company, most of whom are currently with the production company Rotana and are experiencing dissatisfaction with it.
Nancy, Iraqi singer Kathem El Saher, Lebanese singers Assi Hilani and Ragheb Alama are nominated to be the first big names to become members.
