Narmin Al Faqhi “Won’t let go of her ethics”

The Egyptian actress Narmin Al Faqhi announced that she is very happy to be nominated by director Hani Ismail to star in the new television drama series “Haz Al Hilal Ya Said” (The Crescent Shook Mr.). The filming of the new series began at the end of October, and it is hoped to be ready for airing during the upcoming Ramadan season of 2010.
Narmin said that she is happy to be nominated because she will play a new and different role than her previous roles and she is honored to be working with a writer who had made a name for himself through his works and great success.
According to the Jordanian daily Al Rai, as for the new role that Narmin will be playing she said that even though the director was very strict on not revealing any details about the series, she will be playing the role of a respected Egyptian woman who won’t let go of her values and ethics. She fights throughout the series for these ethics and values and encourages people around her to do the same. The new series is written by Muhammad Jalal Abed Al Qowa and a number of famous Egyptian stars were nominated to star in it like Hisham Salim, Yaser Jalal, Amirah Fathi and Hasan Hosny.
It is needless to say that Narmin starred in three different drama series this year where one was aired on television during the month of Ramadan and others are still waiting to be aired. Narmin had also returned to the cinema this year after years of absence. She starred in the cinema film “Dr. Silicon” where she starred in it with Lebanese artist Marwa, but unfortunately the film wasn’t that successful.
