Natasha Yamin: World Dances in Her Body
The young Lebanese dancer Natasha Yamin id participating along with singer Sabin Khayyat and music player Avon Arslanian in Sami Khayyat’s show Stand-up Comedy which has been portrayed daily for four months at La Rigolette in Beirut.
Yamin, 17, is a student whose hobby is dancing is studying at Nymes Academy following her study with Karakalla Troupe. She has been fond of dancing since early childhood and she practice sports in addition to her music and classical playing on the piano hobbies.
“The show begins with a belly dance and followed by African, Spanish and French performances after which I perform a Greek dance,” Natasha told the daily al Nahar.
In addition to dancing Natasha expresses her acting talent saying, “I like acting too which appears at the show.”
For his part, Khayyat says, “Natasha is a gifted girl and she has a promising future in dancing and acting.”
Khayyat considers the idea of the audience’s participation with Natasha a successful one. “This experience which people responds to is beautiful. The structure changes every 20 days and everyday something new emerges. People stay late at night where they are entertained and enlightened,” he added -- Albawaba.com
