The famous Lebanese artist Nawal Al Zoghbi was nominated to play the voice of “Princess Tiyana” in the Arabic version of the Walt Disney animated feature film “The Princess and the Frog.”
On other grounds, Al Zoghbi had agreed to sing the theme song for the new film “Ibn Al Qonsel” (The Consul Son), staring famous Egyptian actors Ahmad Al Saqa, Khaled Saleh and Ghada Adel. The film is directed by Amr Arafah. The lyrics of the theme song are written by the poet Ayman Bahjat Qamar.
Nawal is preparing for her new album, holding sessions with a number of poets and composers to choose the right songs. The new album is a production of the company ‘Melody’.
