Nawal Al Zughbi to shoot new commercial for Pepsi in Australia
Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zughbi plans to travel early November to Melbourne Australia to shoot a new commercial for Pepsi. Zughbi was chosen by Pepsi earlier last year to star in their Middle East commercials. Interestingly, Pepsi’s decision was not deemed a potential stain on either her reputation or prospects, on the contrary the singer has experienced ongoing success with her albums.
The London based Elaph, reported that upon her return from a trip to Paris, Nawal plans to begin work on recording a new music video. She will be recording a song from her latest album “Elli Itmanaito” (The One I Wished For) with the director Salim Al Turk.
Surprising all fans with her new 2002 look in the latest video clip for her CD’s lead song “Elli Itmanaito” (The One I Wished For), Al Zughbi promised she would be shooting other songs from the CD, and that she would be working on new surprises in her upcoming album.
Though several critics slammed her latest album in the awake of its release, saying that it marked a great failure in both Egypt and Lebanon, Zughbi was called to sign her latest album in Dubai to kick off a promotion tour in all the Arab Gulf states.
The eldest among three brothers and one sister, Zoughbi made her debut in the music world in 1988, with her participation in the TV show, Studio Al Fan. She was awarded the 'Best Singer' award on several occasions throughout her career. - Albawaba.com
