Kuwaiti singers Nawal and Abdullah Al Ruaished are to head to Lebanon in the upcoming days to hold a concert at the Sheraton Hotel in Beirut on the third day of Eid Al Adha holiday.

According to the London based Elaph, Abdullah is currently shooting three music videos under the direction of director Ahmad Al Mahdi. The songs are "I'feeni" (Spare Me) "Ala Ahbiak" (I do Love You), and "Dam'a" (A Tear).

Nawal on the other hand is also preparing to shoot a new music video with director Mirna Abu Elyas.

Kuwaiti singer Nawal contacted the organizing committee at the Doha Festival taking back her decision of canceling her appearance. The singer told the committee that she would be able to perform but prefers to hold her concert at the end, hoping her health status would have improved.

Earlier this week, Nawal had announced regretfully that she would not be able to attend the Doha Festival due to health reasons. The singer was experiencing problems with a reoccurrence of previous problems with her eyes.

According to the London based Elaph, Nawal feared that the problem with her eyes will worsen at the festival from all the lights and decided not to take any chances. She is due to complete a number of sessions with opticians to treat her eyesight problems and is requested to stop all scheduled performances until further notice.

The organizing committee at the festival accepted Nawal’s sudden decision to call off her presence at the event and wished her a quick recovery.

Nawal had recently completed the recording of her latest song “El Shoog Jabak” (Longing Brought You Back). She spent long hours working on her new music clip in Beirut alongside Lebanese director Mirna Khaiat Abu Al Yas.

The song composed by Mash’al Al Arouj is from her latest album released recently under the name of Nawal 2002. The singer was afraid at first to try something new fearing it may not match her style and may not be accepted by her audience. Once she had read the script for the music video and noticed all the lighting, number of dancers, and extravagant wardrobe, she felt more at ease and became eager to begin shooting. – Albawaba.com
