Lebanese singer Nawal El Zughbi has accepted an invitation from Egypt’s First Lady, Suzanne Husni, to hold a concert in Cairo on the 18th of November, 2000. According to (the) Al Sharq El Awsat newspaper, the event will take place at the 5-star hotel, the Semiramis Intercontinental.
The London based daily also said that all proceeds will go to the ‘Children of the Stones’ in Palestine.
The Egyptian First Lady has also invited the wives of all Arab leaders as well as all Arab Prime Ministers to attend.
Meanwhile, Zughbi has just finished placing the final touches to her latest music video, entitled, Ya Quds, which she dedicated to the Palestinian people.
The song was written by William Hassouni, composed by Ziad Murad, and directed by Toni Abu Elias and Mirna Khayat.
The video is scheduled for release by the beginning of next week. – Albawaba.com.
