Nobody wants to swim in cold water, duh! This is the reason Nelly Karim gives for her upcoming film "Youm Lil Sitat" (A Day for Women) being delayed.
Rumors arose that the film produced by Elham Shahin was in financial crisis mode, leading it to be put on hold for the time being, but the Egyptian starlet says it's weather related instead.
According to Laha Magazine, Nelly said, "The main reason the film 'Youm Lil Sitat' has been halted is bad weather conditions. The remaining scenes in the film take place in an open swimming pool in a traditional neighborhood, and the extremely cold weather has made it hard to film the scenes."
She added that she and the remaining cast asked director Kamila Abu Thikry and producer Elham Shahin to postpone filming until the summer season and temperature is much hotter.
Nelly confirmed that filming of the scenes will resume after the Muslim holiday Eid Al Fitr, but for now she is staying busy filming her new television drama "Sijin Al Nisa" (Women's Prison).
