Lebanese singer and actress Nicole Saba is preparing to make a second acting experience in the film “Clip Al Gharam” (Love Clip) alongside Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz and Tunisian actress Hind Sabri. In the film, Nicole will play her real-life character (a Lebanese singer) who falls in love with an Egyptian man obsessed with music and a singing career.

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, the movie shows Nicole as the singer in love with an unknown yet talented singer she is willing to put a lot of faith in. Despite all the criticism and advise she receives from her friends in the entertainment world against doing so, Nicole forms a band with him.

Saba had recently apologized to prominent Egyptian actress Yusra for not being able to star in her new film “Kalam Fil Hub” (Love Talk). According to Saba, she was too busy at the time working on her first solo album, which has now been released. Nicole also spoke of acting roles that do not rely on her outside appearance, but rather those that would bring out her real acting talents. According to her - her role in Yusra's movie would not have allowed her that chance and so decided to turn it down.

Her first film “Al Tajruba Al Denmarkia” (A Dutch Experience) alongside Egyptian comedian Adel Imam was a hige success in the region, and she is hoping her second attempt will be recieved just as well.

Saba has also recently released her first solo music video for the song “Yali Shaghilni Beek” (occupied with you) under the direction of Nadine Labky. The director chose to have Nicole play an office secretary from the sixties - something she felt was a bit different from what is usually done.

The song is part of Nicole’s first solo album, which the singer hopes will mark her strong comeback to the singing world. Nicole placed the final touches on her album in Cairo - Alam El Phan produced her ten-song album “Ya Shaghilni Aineek". – Albawaba.com
