Nicole Saba becomes an Egyptian folk singer

Lebanese singer Nicole Saba has agreed to accept an offer for the leading role in the upcoming film “Laiali” (Nights) alongside Egyptian actors Tal’at Zakaria and folk-singer Saed Al Sagheer.
In the film, Nicole will play the role of a girl who is in love with modern music and singing, but is forced to become a leader of a band that was previously headed by mother, who passes away. The band is specialized in folk music and Nicole is forced to give up her dream of singing modern music.
According to the London based weekly, Laha, Nicole has been taken lessons in folk singing and performances in order to play her part right in the film.
Nicole had just recently completed filming all the scenes for her new film “Thaman Dastet Ashrar” (The Price of a Dozen Evils) alongside Yasmin Abdul Aziz.
On a different note, Nadine Saba is on her honeymoon after her sudden marriage to an Egyptian business man. Egyptian media attacked Nadine’s sister singer/actor Nicole Saba for not attending her own sister’s wedding.
Nicole said she was preoccupied in the city of Sharm El Sheikh and could not attend, calling into question the nature of the two sisters’ relationship.
Nicole’s business manager, Wael Al Masri, denied rumors that the relationship between the sisters was tense, stating that Nicole accompanied her sister throughout the entire process of preparing for the wedding, up to the point before the church ceremony.
A minor dispute between Nicole and Nadine’s husband erupted, which led to Nicole’s absence from the wedding ceremony, said Wael.
