Lebanese singer Nicole Saba has been chosen by internationally acclaimed Turkish singer Tarkan to perform with him at an event in Dubai on 9 November.  Nicole considers the performance to be the most important of her career.

According to the London based Elaph, Nicole has also been chosen to sing alongside prominent Egyptian pop star Amr Diab in Dubai on 16 November, and will give a performance with him on New Year’s Eve in Egypt.

Participation in these events is a big responsibility, said Nicole, especially since she was chosen specifically by Tarkan. The singer has already performed with Amr Diab in Egypt but she will sing with him in Dubai for the first time.

She considers herself “extremely lucky” to be given these opportunities that will pave the way for international fame, said Nicole, which she has been dreaming of since the start of her career. Nicole revealed that her dream is becoming a reality and she hopes that her acting career will achieve the same success as her singing career in the near future.

On a different note, Saba has admitted that she wishes the man of her dreams will look just like Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury, the object of her affection.

Nicole made the statement during a television interview, adding that presently she is not intimately involved with anyone. She said that if ‘Mr. Right’ does not appear in her life and she never marries, then she will eventually adopt a child.

Upon her return from Beirut, Saba began shooting the first scenes of her upcoming film “Qisset AL Hai Al Sha’bi” (The Story of the Common Neighborhood), also starring Tal’at Zakaria and folk-singer Saed Al Sagheer.

The film is written by Ahmad Abdullah, directed by Ashraf Baqi, produced by Ahmad Al Sabki and the entire cast and crew held a celebration marking their work on the film.
