Lebanese artist Nicole Saba returned to Beirut to spend ten days with her family with the coming of the holy month of Ramadan. Nicole also wanted to see the reaction of Lebanese viewers to her new television drama series “Ada Al Nahar” (Except during the Day), being aired on various satellite channels during the holy month.
According to the London daily Elaph, Nicole will then return to Cairo to prepare for her music performances. She will host a live concert in Cairo with the young Egyptian superstar Muhammad Hamaqi.
While she was in Beirut Nicole gave a live interview to the Lebanese host Imad Hiwari on “Rotana Delta” radio station. During the interview she talked about her new projects and her new radio drama series that she will record with Muhammad Rajab and Jiji Jamal.
When asked if Egyptian critics have waged some kind of war on female Lebanese artists, Nicole said, “There is no war, but all eyes are on them.”
She also said that every artist is free to do and wear what she believes is appropriate.
Nicole will also star in new Egyptian film called “Al Safah” (The Killer) with Egyptian actor Hani Salameh, who plays the killer. Nicole plays the role of the killer’s lover.
The new film is written by Khaled Sawi and directed by Saed Hindawi.
Nicole said that after she finishes the Egyptian drama she will return to Lebanon to begin work on a new Lebanese drama, a sure surprise for her Lebanese fans.
