Nicole Saba regrets acting with Adel Imam
Lebanese singer/actress Nicole Saba has dropped a surprise bomb during her appearance on the program “Hadeeth al Balad” (Talk of the town) that is aired on the Lebanese satellite channel MTV and hosted by journalist Muna Abu Hamzah. On show Nicole said that she has now matured as an actress and truly regrets her participation in the Egyptian film “Al Tajrubah Al Danmarkiyah” (The Dutch Experience) alongside prominent Egyptian comedian actor Adel Imam.
Nicole’s role in the film was considered to be a very seductive one and the most daring for her. She played the role of a Dutch who woman came to Egypt and lived with the Minister of Youth, who is played by Adel Imam. Throughout the film, she seduces Adel and ends up having an intimate relationship with him.
Nicole revealed that she had agreed to take part in the film because at the time she was only interested in becoming famous and acting alongside a prominent actor would place her on the right path. She added that it was her first film experience and did not know any better.
On the show, Nicole appeared with her husband Lebanese actor Yousif Al Khal, who had revealed that the reason behind their breakup for six years was her participation in the film. Yousif added that there were other reasons for the split, but the main one was “Al Tajruba Al Danmarkiyah”.
Yousif stated that during their breakup in 2002, he and Nicole were each preoccupied with different projects in different countries and staying together at the time was close to impossible. In 2008, they had gotten back together and their relationship became serious leading to marriage in 2011.
