Nicole waiting for an answer

Lebanese singer and actress Nicole Saba has achieved great fame in Egypt.
Her role in the film “Al Tajrobah Al Denmarkiya” (Denmark Experience) with the famous Egyptian comedian Adel Imam helped make her popular.

 According to the London daily Elaph, Nicole left acting for awhile and then returned to the Egyptian cinema and television dramas, yet she was never considered to be a first class actor.

Nicole’s stared in the television drama series “Ada Al Nahar” (Except During the Daytime) last spring, which did not achieve great success compared to the other Ramadan series that were aired.

Also, her last film “Amalyat Khasa” (Private Mission) did not accomplish the success that it had expected.

 As for now Nicole is shooting a new film called “Al Safah” (The Killer).  The film will not be screened in movie theaters until next summer season.

 Through a memo from Nicole’s press office it said that Nicole has been nominated for a new role in the Egyptian drama series “Al Masrawyeh,” the second part.

The first part was aired on television during the last Ramadan season and it stared Hisham Salim, Mamdouh Abed Al Alim and Ghada Adel. It is not known yet whether Nicole will be taking Ghada’s role or a new role in the drama series. She is still waiting for an answer from the director of the series, Egyptian director Ismail Abed Al Hafeth, who directed her other drama series, “Ada Al Nahar.”
