According to the London daily Elaph, after “Rotana” had made the decision of not airing the new video clip “Joreh Ghaybak” (The Wound of your Absence) for the Lebanese artist Carole Saqer; the Lebanese artist became a guest on the radio station “Rotana Delta” on the entertainment show “Lail Beirut” (Beirut’s Night).
After the decision that was made by “Rotana” which made turmoil in the press Carole came out and cleared the situation for everyone. Carole said that she respects Prince Walid Bin Talal’s decision and at the same time she denied having any conflict with “Rotana”.
Carole stated that there were communications between her and “Rotana” representatives who have persisted on believing in her musical talent and wanting to keep her part of the company. She had promised a new surprise that would be revealed soon. It is needless to say that there was a settlement between her and “Rotana” to film a second video clip from the same album just right after “Eid Al Fiter” break.
Carole had also returned all rights for the clip “Joreh Ghaybak” after paying the full amount of the making cost to “Rotana”.
