Rumors are circulating that Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram and Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz will unite to star in a new film.
The two have neither denied nor confirmed the rumor thus far.
Nancy stated that her schedule is already filled with concerts around the Arab world and that she has no free time until the beginning of next year, although rumors claim that a new film script is being written especially for the singer.
Jiji Lamara, Nancy’s business manager, has expressed trepidation about the singer’s entrance into the acting world, especially since her popularity is witnessing a slight decline.
Ajram enjoyed a very successful summer season with concerts around the world, in addition to being honored at a number of festivals for the tremendous success she has achieved during her short career.
The singer is currently planning for a new tour in Australia, where she is scheduled to hold a number of performances in different cities.
The singer has completed recording the songs for her upcoming album, scheduled for release in the near future.
