The Lebanese actress Noor had apologized and turned down the leading role in the television drama series “Zahra Wal Ashwak” (Flower And Thorns) and asked the producer to nominate another actress instead. Noor surprised the series’ production company with her decision after returning from her honeymoon to Cairo with her husband Yousif Antaki.
She justified her decision by saying even though she likes the idea of the new role but she is tied up with another art project. She added that she also needs to give some time for her husband and her new married life and like any woman wants to give birth and have a baby very soon.
The series “Zahra Wal Ashwak” is produced by the “Media City Production” and another private production company. The script for the series is written by Ala Abed Al Naeem and directed by Ra’ed Labib. The search for a new actress to take the leading is in process in order to start the filming and have the drama ready for the upcoming Ramadan season.
There are a number of well-known Egyptian actors and actresses starring in the new series like Tareq Lutfi, Hasan Hosni, Rania Farid Shawqi and Riham Abed Al Ghafour.
