Director of the film “Ahasees” (Feelings) Hani Jarjas revealed that the recent circulated video that created commotion showing Lebanese singer Marwa naked from the waist up and only her hands covering her chest isreal and not fabricated. he added that it is a normal scene from the film showing Marwa mostly nude was approved by the Egyptian Censorship Committee.

Hani stated that the video circulated was filmed by an anonymous person on the set of the movie and not taken from actual camera footage. Hani stressed that similar scenes where played in the past by the late prominent actress Suad Husni in the film “Zawjati wa Al Kilab” (My wife and the dogs).

On her part, Marwa placed the responsibility on the director and camera person for the spread of the video and considered it a crime and they should be prosecuted for it.

Marwa had played in the film “Ahasees” in 2010 alongside Egyptian actors Edward, Basem Zamra, Ola Ghanem, Ahmad Azmi, Maria and Randa Al Buhairi.

After the video of Marwa was released, Head of the Egyptian Musician Union artist Eman Al Bahr Darweesh has decided to ban Marwa from singing in Egypt.
