The Egyptian prominent screenwriter Osama Anwar Okasha has managed to convince actress Suhair al Babili who quitted acting long time ago, to come back to performance, as he tapped her to take the starring role in his forthcoming series Ayyam Fi al Seyalah which he is currently scripting.
Okasha told the London-based Arabic daily al Sharq al Awsat, “I have recently met Babili at a public gathering and she showed willingness to come back to acting in a series I script.”
He added, “the series is about the story of a striving mother who adopts her niece after the death of her sister during delivery. A special love story and humanitarian relation takes place between the boy and his aunt who devotes her life for his sake. She does not get married in order to be free to raise him up but when the boy grows bigger he becomes quarrelsome to the extent that exposes her to problems. The boy becomes unemployed and spurred to take on many jobs until he ends as a fraudulent.
Okasha said that he has nominated young film star Mohammed Henaidi to play the role as the self-defeating boy, niece of Babili in the series, for the many traits he has which are consistent with the role and the naughty boy character.
The series will be directed by Ismael Abdel Hafez who will select new stars to join the cast -- Albawaba.com
