The Egyptian actress Ola Ghanem threatened to file a lawsuit against the Lebanese artist Maria if she did not apologize for the comments she made during an interview with the newspaper “Al Rai Al Aam (published in Kuwayt).”
Maria said that Ola played the role of a lesbian in the film “Bedoon Raqaba” (Uncensored) “immaturely.”
Maria also stared in the film, along with Ahmad Fahmi and Dolly Shaheen. Uncensored was directed by Hani Jarjis Fawzi.
“I was surprised to hear such comments from an artist that has respect for herself and her work,” said Ola.
