Over 20 thousand people race to Alissa's concert in Morocco

Lebanese singer Alissa is witnessing significant success starting from the sales of her latest album “A7la Dunia” (The Perfect World) and ending with her concerts around the Arab world. Alissa held a big concert in Rabat, Morocco, on July 1 where she was participating for the first time in the Culture festival. The estimated number of fans was 20 thousand people who came anxiously to hear Alissa's songs. 

 

After her Rabat concert, Alissa is going to hold several concerts in Egypt sponsored by Pepsi. The schedule will be as follows: 

16th of July 2004: Cairo 

20th of July 2004: Ismaelliah 

20th of July 2004: Alexandria 

 

Alissa will also participate in other Arab counties this summer such as Tunusia (Carthage Festival) and Jordan (Jerash Festival). Alissa's schedule will be as follows: 

17th of July 2004: Coral Beach- Lebanon  

24th of July 2004: Jerash – Jordan  

14th of August 2004: Carthage – Tunisia  

28th of August 2004: Latakia – Syria 

 

The Lebanese singer is also going to film a video clip for her song “Irja3 Lilshog” (Return to Love) the words by Safouh Shagaleh and tunes by Nihad Najjar.  

 

The album "Ahla Dunia" is still occupying the number spot for record sale in Egypt despite the fact that it's date of release was eight weeks ago. Record stores owners revealed that album sales are still very high and is mostly for albums by new singers.  

 

Alissa had postponed her visit to Cairo, which was expected to take place in late last month, for attending the ceremony celebrating the release of her new album “a7la Dunia”. The visit was postponed to July 12 for personal reasons according to sources. –Albawaba.com
