Pascal Mashaalani acquires a Bedouin lifestyle
The past eleven years have witnessed on-going success for Lebanese singer Pascal Mashaalani, and proven that she deserves to be considered one of the top Arab singers of our time. The singer’s latest album “Shu I’miltilak Ana” (What Did I Do For You), her first produced under Rotana Music Production Company, has witnessed significant success, in which the singer stresses that she feels it is her best since the start of her career.
Pascal revealed in a personal interview that she has received an offer to star in a new Bedouin TV drama series and is currently reading the script, implying she has given her initial acceptance. The singer added that she will not be revealing any details regarding the new series preferring to keep it a secret and surprise her audience with it once it is aired, reported the London based Elaph.
The first episode of the new show "Maa Habibi" (With My Love) on the music channel Rotana featured as its guest of honor Mashaalani. On the scheduled day of shooting the episode, Pascal appeared four hours late upsetting everyone who ended up waiting for her arrive. The delay was due to the fact that the red dress the singer wore, which was specially made by renowned Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad, needed some urgent alterations to be made so it can fit her perfectly. Upon arriving on stage Pascal kept repeating over and over how sorry she was for the delay feeling ashamed that everyone was waiting for her.
It was revealed that one of the crew of the show had snapped at Pascal for being so late, but the singer kept calm excusing the woman for her outburst.
On a different note, Mashaalani has for the first time publicly announced that she will tie the knot in the very near future and marry the man she is involved with. The singer has stressed that all previous rumors that have been circulating about her marrying men of different nationalities are all untrue.
Pascal revealed that she will not reveal the name or nationality of the man she will be marrying wanting to keep it a surprise until the wedding date is set. The singer added that despite the fact that she had previously announced that she has no plans to ever get married, was only said so that people would stop making up rumors and let her live with some peace of mind.
Pascal stressed that she is sick and tired of the rumors that have been circulating about her personal life, and this time she will finally put an end to them. Pascal noted that she plans on concentrating completely on her singing career for the moment and revealed that the man in her life is the one person she turns to when she is happy or sad and asks advice from regarding different issues.
Mashaalani has proudly announced that she holds no regrets in leaving her previous production company Music Master and joining Rotana Music Production Company. The singer stressed that since she became a part of Rotana, the company has spoiled her in every way possible making sure all her needs are met. Pascal stressed that the best decision she has made throughout her career was joining Rotana, which took her in with open arms. Pascal revealed that no dispute had occurred with Music Master, and her decision to move was made on the best interest of her career path.
During her last visit to Dubai, Mashaalani held extensive negotiations with the head of music Rotana for the possibility of joining their team. The talks between the two sides turned out to be successful with Pascal signing a contract with Rotana and officially joining their long list of singers. Rotana’s authority over the releases of Pascal will take effect as soon as her current contract with Music Master is over.
