Egyptian singer Amr Diab is placing the final touches on his upcoming album “Khalina Inshoofak” (Let Us See You), which is scheduled to be released mid-January 2004. The singer revealed had recently completed shooting the music video for the main song of the album “Khalina Inshoofak” and that he will shoot the song “Salmitilak” in the form of a video clip immediately after his New Year’s Eve performance in order to have it ready with the release of the album.
According to the London based Elaph, Amr stressed that he was in shock to learn that many of his songs from the new album were leaked to the black market and pirated copies are being sold. He also expressed his anger at the fact that his album is being sold on the streets for a price of only 10 Egyptian pounds, a matter that negatively reflects on the success of the album upon its official release. Amr revealed that this is not the first time he is exposed to such pirating of his albums before their official release.
Amr is always looking for new ideas and styles to introduce to his fans that are unique and have not been used before. The singer is always careful that even the words he chooses for his songs are different from all other in the hope of staying on top and meeting the high expectations of his audience.
Amr revealed that he has called on the assistance of an Italian director to direct three new music video clips for him at the same time. The singer added that he will also need to find 500 performers to take part in his music videos.
Diab had repeatedly tried to deny encountering heart problems fearing that confirming the fact would negatively affect the image he has made of himself. He constantly tries to appear as a healthy and energetic singer, who despite being at the age of 40 is able to look 20 years younger always acquiring a young and fresh look to impress his audience.
But despite his denial, close family members and friends have assured that the singer has in fact encountered several heart problems leading him to be hospitalized, and was only release after receiving very strict orders from his doctors to rest and keep away from exercise or extra activity that may tire him.
Recently, it was rumored that Amr was hit with a second heart attack, canceling his previous plans to hold a concert in Dubai, and that the incident marks the second time the singer is faced with heart problems, since he has moved to his new residence in Lebanon. It was added that the singer had refrained from giving out any details regarding his health condition and is following doctor’s orders and avoiding any extensive exercise or extra activity. And that his doctors had him to stay at home for some time and give his body time to relax. –Albawaba.com
