Raghda's dad kidnapped in Syria
Syrian actress Raghda's dad has been kidnapped and a photo posted on social network site Facebook.
Syrian actress, Raghda, decried across the Arab world for being a supporter of embattled President Bashar al Assad, believes that her father has been kidnapped in her homeland after a photo was posted to social networking website Facebook.
The flag of rebels was wrapped around his neck.
Elaph is reporting that the accompanying caption claims that it is Raghda's father, who was kidnapped for his daughters support of Assad.
Her father had previously come out in opposition to his daughters stance, supporting the uprisings which has its second anniversary on March 15. He had previously said he hoped he would one day see Bashar al Assad deposed.
Raghda, who repeatedly receives death threats over her political allegiances, said that her father, who was born in 1923, had been suffering Alzheimer's disease for the last 11 years.
The actress claims that he would not of known what he was saying in any statement attributed to him due to the onset of the disease.
