Raghda returns

Syrian actress Raghda has completed recording the new radio drama series “Haqeeqit al Awham” (The truth of illusions) to be aired on the radio station ‘Sawt al Arab’ in Cairo.

According to the London based Elaph, the series will be the main radio drama to be aired during the holy month of Ramadan.

Actors Bousy, Abbas al Nouri, Samih as Sariti, Ahmad Salamah Huda Hani, Muna Hilal and Haitham Mohammad will also take part in the series.

The drama takes place in an American suburb where an American an Arab family resides.  The strong bond between the families is broken after the 11 September tragedy takes the life of the eldest son of the American family. 

Members of the American family start to turn against the Arab family, viewing them as a terrorist threat.
